HOVORKA

A good deal of my entire site was lunched when Earthling/Mindspring switched to new servers last spring. Unfortunately, it coincided with a catastrophic computer meltdown that left me with many, many web articles gone for good, including a total rewrite of the Hovorka article I'd just completed. Until I can get back to it, please check out the Turbines article or John's own site for info on this outstanding songwriter and performer. John's work spans nearly four decades now, but still manages to sound as fresh and contemporary as anything out there [and sometimes I do mean OUT THERE!]. He's a pioneer of lyrical comment on the industrial age, and a kick-ass writer of songs about the sometimes-scary, often hairy lives of denizens of dangerous places along the highway.
